Hi, I need some help confirming that I can't unlock my 3G iPhone

So I've done a bunch of research and it seems that because of my baseband I won't be able to unlock my iPhone until a new unlock is out for 3.1.3.

Here are my specs:

Using Windows 7
Iphone 3G
Firmware: 3.1.3 (7E18)
Model #: MB046LL
Serial #: 860064 (week 64?)
Bootloader 6.4
Baseband 05.12.01

Am I out of luck?

Can I at least jailbreak somehow?

You and I are in the same boat, you can NOT unlock....but you can jailbreak.
