Anyhow,
I have an Iphone 3g 3.1.3 it was from Germany on carrier T-mobile or something.

Now this Iphone has been restored, so currently when I put my new 2degrees sim card in, it says in itunes..blah blah not compatible blah...

I have tried redsnOw etc, but nothing ever seems to open when downloaded! I just need very simple on how to unlock this phone, I have tried some links that have been posted in this forumn, once again whenever I download a programme they never show up in itunes or any other programme, and with blackra1n (?) it said I need to select the IPP something? I had no idea what to select so I just said cancel...

So sorry for my stupidity, but I am very grateful and will try help anyone with problems I can solve! (science homework etc)

because I cant unlock it, does this mean that I cannot use my sim card in the phone.
Is this becuase there is no software out yet?
