contact you network provider, tell them whats happened, give them your iemi number...now when u followed the factory unlocking instructions with the network, did it show the model/manufacture type? im with vodafone and online in the unlocking instructions my iemi number brought up my model as a 3g 16gb yet mine is a 3gs 32gb...it was a replacement iphone underwarranty...this made me come to the conclusion that all warranty replacement units are refurbished units, apple must throw around extinct numbers on their refurbished phones but forget to change all the details.

this concerns me as i actually havent restored the phone yet to activate the unlock (waiting for next FWU) but am wondering if a similar thing may happen to my phone as the model details are different, vodfone assure me it wont but i really wonder on there knowledge on the phone, a few even simple questions i aske dthem they could not answer as they really had no idea. so much for tech support.
but anyways...call ur network, if they unlocked it for you theyre responsible
or call apple..all factory/network unlock iphones are registered with them on there system theyll be able to tell u the prob.

It shouldn't lock up for any reason if it is factory unlocked...
