Really Unable to Unlock an iPhone 3G
Hi guys,
I got an iPhone 3G 16GB. Don't know what firmware is on it.
My PC: Windows 7, iTunes 9, LibUSB installed.
Always when I try to restore my iPhone (dfu/restore mode) via iTunes I'm getting "error 28". I have tried alll available firmwares for iPhone 3G, including custom firmwares created with snowbreeze.
Also I used iReb trying to bypass this error.
When trying to use redsnow it always holds on on "download jailbreak data"
Any ideas?

Do a quick forum search on error 28. It is a hardware issue and is permanent. I have found work arounds to get the phone running again, but it is only temporary and you will have the dreaded error 28 issue again in the future.

You need to find out what firmware you are running.

I cannot even enter it, as I may only put in in DFU / RECOVERY Mode. ..
