No Service / Searching

I have read and tried many fixes, nothing seems to work. My iphone says it's searching for service then eventually switches to no service. Need Help.

Here's details on my iphone.

iphone 3Gs, 16gb

Firmware 3.1.2 (7D11)
Serial Number 819380VH3NP
Model MC147C

Cydia is installed and blackra1n

join the club. I just spent 15 hours with no luck and still no clue.
So pissed off. Mine just decided to get no service while I was walking around a mall. God knows what ticked it off!

After plenty of ready I believe I know the problem, a cure would be great.
My phone is using bootloader version 06.04 and baseband 05.12.01. There doesn't seem to be a way downgrade the baseband once you have bootloader version 06.04.

my baseband is the old one. but it still cannot get a signal.
