3GS with new bootrom, restore 3.1.2 with SHSH?

I want to restore my iphone 3gs 3.1.2, I saved my SHSH on cydia. But can't restore anymore. Tried to change my hosts file but still getting 1600 error.


How can I unlock my iphone 3gs 3.1.2 in restore mode?

restoring in DFU or recovery mode? As you have shsh on file, you be able to restore to 3.1.2. Although if u Jailbreak then that will be tethered ofcourse

1600 is another error, doesnt relate to shsh issue. if device is already jailbroken, restore in recovery mode

I am currently running 3.1.2 and I have a 3gS with new bootrom..

I need to restore my phone. I am getting a error message saying that i have used to much disc space.. The phone itself wiped everything out of my phone and when i sink to itunes, my other fills up 12 gigs by itself. So i searched and searched on a way to bring down my other, i used sn0wbreeze to create a new ispw and it actually wiped everything out, but in the process it installed some files for 3.1.3..

my phone is fully functional but i am getting hesitation and the phone is just not running right.. I NEED A RESTORE.. and if you know, iTunes is not allowing a shift+restore any longer for the 3gS with a new bootrom..

I had SSH on my phone before i got the error, i dont know if my files are still in the phone...
Pls help me on what i can do to restore my phone without upgrading to 3.1.3
