iPhone 3G, Modem 05.11.07, custom 3.1.3

hey guys,

i hope someone can help me with this.

i have an iPhone 3G which has been jailbroken and unlocked in the past (by myself) and has been working fine with 3.1.2 up until recently. i made a custom ipsw via Pwnage Tool 3.1.5 and proceeded to upgrade my 3G to 3.1.3 - all went well!

however when i added blackra1n as a source it brought up blacksn0w(RC1) which i thought was strange as the current is RC3. so ran this anyway and the phone just locked up.

so i restored it again via custom firmware which got the phone working again but now i am not too sure what to do. each time i add blackra1n as a soruce i just get the RC1 build - i know it displayed and i used RC3 when the same device was on 3.1.2

i hope someone can help with this.

Why dont you run blackra1n from your computer connecting your iphone to it. That will JB your phone & then you can install blacksnow from blackra1n icon your phone to unlock it.

i was having issues with 3.1.2 so upgrading to 3.1.3 and keep my unlock would mean custom update, i didn't know blackra1n worked with 3.1.3

If you updated custom ipsw only then you'll have the older baseband version and you'll be able to use blackra1n.

yes - i have said this in the first post...i am currently on modem firmware 05.11.07 iphone 3G 3.1.3 custom firmware.
however when i add blackra1n as a source i can only download blacksn0w RC1 which makes the phone hang. when it was on 3.1.2 it was running blacksn0w RC3...

this is what i need...sorry if i am a bit blunt!

EDIT: even when creating custom IPSW and add the source through pwnage tool - it only shows RC1
