To hard 2 fix?
Short story:
how to restore Iphone 3GS new bootrom fw 3.1.2
long story:
I have a Iphone 3GS NEW BOOTROM, I saved my SHSH file on cydia with fw 3.1.2 The same day my phone crashed and I am trying to restore it to 3.1.2 but they dont give signatures anymore. So I tried alot of ways but how do I get this phone working and unlocked? I don't know if I have to update to 3.1.3 but I don't think thats smart to do
Tried to change hosts file and then restore with 3.1.2, no use.. And I found my SHSH number with (umbrella) if that helps?

If ur baseband is 5.12....then u have no downgrade anymore thru iTunes. I would just run blackra1n

Did you change your host file to accept the SHSH files from Cydia?
And when you saved your SHSH files, did it say that you had 3.1.2 files saved?
