I recently purchased an iPhone from someone who TRIED to unlock the iphone before they sold it but didnt quite get it to work. Although it did work on AT&T still and he was able to make calls from it. After purchasing the iPhone from him I went home to restore it to a fresh 3.1.2 and tried unlocking it myself with blackra1n and sn0w but once I finish, I get "No Service" at the top or sometimes I get no signal but in neither situations do I see "T-mobile". When I stick in the sim card I get a notification for voicemails in my box still but I cant call my voicemail... I'm not quite sure what is wrong with it... Now when I try putting in a AT&T sim card it also says "No Service"... Does anyone have any idea? Could it be that the previous owner messed it up with whatever method of unlocking or maybe I messed it up??In any case thank you in advance for any tips and answers!
try transfering all your purches to ituns and restore hold shift and select the 3.1.2 software and when it restores you should get and error message at end open quickpwn and hold sleep and home for 15sec till it restarts then set as new phone and unlock jailbreak again with blackrain it should work 100%
