HELP! 3G 04.26.08BB 3.1.3 unlocked but no signal.

Hey everyone,

I have been unlocking since the very first unlock was released, so I am not new to this. My 3g stopped working today and I tried everything possible to prevent me from having to upgrade to 3.1.3 from 3.0. Nothing worked, and I knew I was on 04.26.08 base band so I felt okay doing the upgrade. Everything went fine but when I put my SIM card in I dont get any service. Anyone have any ideas. Please help.

Also is there any way for me to downgrade to 3.1.2?

U can downgrade to 3.1.2 but u cannot unlock the phone now

Baseband changes when u update firmware. Ur baseband isn't that Now. Unless u used a custom firmware and if u did. Just install ultrasn0w to unlock

Thanks, I did use custom ipsw. My bb is for sure 04.26. I will download ultrasn0w right now and try it.

Haha. So many things have changed in the last 6 months (the 3GS release, multiple FW/Baseband releases, carrier issues, MMS, tethering, etc, etc) that we sometimes forget the obvious. Oh yea --- ultrasn0w unlocks 4.26.08. Don't feel bad BloodPhart, I did the same thing!!

BTW: PwnageTool 3.1.5 works for both 3.1.2 and 3.1.3 and preserves 4.26.08. Your choice. I picked 3.1.2 for the 3G and testing 3.1.3 on the 2G

Its wierd... I used pwnage 3.1.5 to do the unlock but all it did was jailbreak. Maybe I did something wrong, but either way its done. Now all I have to do is get it back to the way it was before the CRASH! Thanks again guys!
