Jailbreak with Blackra1n,unlock with ultrasnow???

My 3GS, 3.1.2, 05.11.07 has been jailbroken with Blackra1n. I tried numerous times to unlock it with blacksn0w, but the phone would work for a few weeks only, than I had to restore. So the unlock with blacksn0w just caused too many problems. Question: can I unlock with ultrasn0w, even though the phone has not been jailbroken with the pwnagetool, but rather with blackra1n? Did anybody try this???

Ultrasn0w to the best of my knowledge only unlocks the 4.26.x baseband, which is what the first 3GS's released with 3.0 firmware shipped with.

The 5.11.x unlock is only available via blacksn0w (and on 3.1.2 firmware)
