help unlock but no data plan message

I just purchased a Iphone 3GS with 3.1.2 software and 05.11.07 firmware.

I installed blackra1n, then blacksn0w and cydia.

The phone and text messaging works great.

I can access the internet using WFII.

However, I can't access the internet with WFII. I get a message "Could not activate cellular data network. You are not subscrubed to a cellular data plan". The SIM that I am using comes from a Palm Treo which I can access the internet.

Any ideas?

Try BlackRa1n to Jailbreak & Blacksn0w to Unlock

Suggest you do some Forum & Google reading until you fully grasp the process - if you F..k up 3.1.2 you have added to your problems

Thanks Sursture, but as my original post said, I had run BlackRa1n and blacksnow.

I have figured out the problem. It was pretty easy. I just needed to add the correct APN and username from my provider.
