    Default ITunes: No file dialog on firmware restore

    So like a lemon I upgraded my IPod 3G 32Gb MC to 3.1.3 before considering the implications.

    I am now trying to downgrade back to 3.1.2.

    After putting the ipod into DFU I try to select (shift-click restore) but cannot get the file dialog to allow me to choose which firmware file to load.

    I thought I saw it once but now I can't get it back.

    Anyone got any ideas?

    Guess I should have mentioned that this was on a PC and that my ipod was previously jailbroken with blackrain.

    Switched over to my Mac and no problems but PC ITunes still wont allow me to do a shift-restore
