I am very sorry to post this with all the topics that can address my problem, but I am over whelmed with all the options and ways to unlocks/jailbreak a iphone.
I just made the switch from blackberry to iphone, and I had my blackberry unlocked with a prepaid sim it worked perfect no problems at all. I have a few friends that have a iphone go phone and that is my goal here.

So is there anyone here patient or helpful enough to show me the way or lead me to the write downloaders ect.. to get my iphone working on my att gophone account?

I am not sure if i am jailbroken I bought this phone for 50 from my friend
He used it on contract if i take the sim card out I can view the phone info but when I put my sim in nothing works
Version is 2.2.1 (5h11)

I used snowbreeze and ran it for the steps and made the custom file and hit shift like instructed.
So download ireb and run it just like snowbreeze sorry to be slow.

i used the new program ran it and now i see a snow flake on the screen it turned white aand than the snowfalke now i am waiting at the restore screen where there is a apple logo and a loading bar hope thats good.

Ya. U have jailbroekn it. Congrats. Don't worry cydia reloads data. Make sure u do complete upgrade or essential whn it asks you then as u said install bootnueter
