Ok, heres the deal.. I updated my firmware before I ever decided to jailbreak my phone.. I'm wondering if anyone has any suggestions for me.. I've read numerous post the last couple of day and really haven't found any definitive answer on weather or not there is a jailbreak to 3.1.3 and the ones that I have found have had some very bad results..

I guess I'm wondering should I continue my search for a jb.. or should I just wait until 4.0 is out and think of doing it then..

and keep in mind.. I'm new at this..

Someone will no dbout correct me if I'm wrong but I think that depending on your bootrom your 3GS can be jailbroken at some point (either tethered or untethered). I don't think there's any way yet to jailbreak a phone at 3.1.3 yet that's never been jailbroken but if the solution exists it's only a matter of time until a tool is created to do it.

Personally I'm waiting for OS 4.0 to come and then see what type of jb will come. So i'm sticking with 3.1.2 Now since you updated to 3.1.3 and want a jb, this is the only video that i know of that shows you how. thanks to D7.

Thanks for the help but video says that the phone must be pre-jailbroken, and im guessing when you say backend.. your referring to the 7E18?

I got it about 3 or 4 months ago..
