iPhone 3GS (3.1.2) unlocked - T-Mobile
Hi
I bought a iPhone 3GS (w/ Firmware 3.1.2) off Ebay and I have unlocked the iPhone using blackrain / snow and i now have T-Mobile showing in the top left with signal strength and 3G which i can connect to the internet, but i am unable to receive/ make calls or send/ receive SMS messages.
Has anybody got any idea's?

You should try re-jailbreaking, and unlocking again. BTW - you can post this in the T-mobile forums for more specific help.

sms mms fix
Download the ipcc file for t-mobile. Update thru itunes. This will also put the camera icon in the message window, and mms will work without third party app like swirly. Also wont receive blurry pics.
Google for the file and how to install.

Log into cydia and install a package called Legacy, it will load all the APN and MMS settings for your iphone. Make sure to turn 3G off in your phone settings as TMobile uses a different frequency for 3G that is not compatible with the Iphone. So you will be limited to edge, but all else will work
