help activation

Hey I need some help my 3gs wont activate running 3.1.3 new baseband and what not, trying to use my gophone sim and seems to work from what I saw on the net but iPhone wont activate. Any advice? thanks

only the original iPhone needs to be unlocked to use an AT&T prepaid sim. Sine the OP is trying to use a GoPhone sim in the 3GS, it will activate with any AT&T sim.


To the OP:

Did this sim come out of a brand new GoPhone that offered you a credit such as $50 upon activation? If so, the sim card will only work in that iPhone for about 6 months, which would explain why it's not working in the iPhone.
