5.11.07 unlock with 3.1.3?

Ok, I've seen some mixed reports so curious about something.

Can a iphone (3gs) which is upgraded to 3.1.3 via snow or a method which maintaines the 3.1.2 (5.11.07) baseband be unlocked via blacksn0w being installed via the cydia repo for example?

Or, is it that the blackwn0w software for the unlock is simply not compatible on the 3.1.3 firmware and even though the baseband is the unlockable version?

Found my own answer roaming around. blacksn0w doesn't seem to work with 3.1.3 no matter what the baseband is, so anyone on 5.11.07 should not update to 3.1.3 if you need to unlock. Even if you preserve the baseband, its not currently working.

Mine just sits there 'Searching...' and finally gives up with 'No Service'. I've tried resetting network settings in Settings.

As I have 05.11.07 is there any chance of downgrading to 3.1.2 by any chance?

that me too..my phone froze and didnt want to boot up so I waited patiently and saw snowbreeze..did the custom firmware and now I'm in the same boat as you

If you both have 3G phones and not 3GS's then you both should be able to downgrade to 3.1.2 and have blacksn0W unlock for you. The main issue is your baseband needs to be the 5.11 and not 5.12. If your on a 3GS hopefully you saved your SHSH's via saurik.

As for Ulrtasn0w, it will only unlock the 4.26.x BB, not the 5.11 to the best of my knowledge.

Do you have the shsh files stored on saurik's server. If not, then answer to your question is you can not downgrade
