global iphone
i was wondering if anyone has taken their iphone and used it with a global sim card. i tried looking it up but i couldn't find anything about it. i was thinking that i should just have to jailbreak and then unlock. hopefully.
has anyone had any experience with traveling abroad with their iphone?

An UNLOCKED phone works with ANY sim => any operator sim worldwide.
Can conform that my recently bought 3GS ... (bought in January! 2010 Jailbroken n Unlocked with Blackra1n/Blacksn0w) worked in Australia, Singapore n Malaysia all with LOCAL sims

thats exactly what i needed to know. thanx man. by the way how was malaysia i was thinking about going there.
Also i was wondering how much the sims you got there were and if they were just prepaid or not?
