What is the best way to unlock an iphone 3g? I have come across websites where you pay for software to do it. They claim after this it works as a regular iphone and works with the app store and everything. I want to use my iphone on tmobile if that matters.

Thanks, with this will the iphone work like a regular iphone just on the tmobile network, in regards to the app store and other things. I know visual voicemail won't work. Sorry I am real new to this with unlocking iphones and how they work. My g1 broke and tmobile is screwing me over but I still have a year left on my contract.
Everything will work as normal. The only thing is that as you mentioned no visual voicemail and no 3g, edge only. This is because they use a different frequency than ATT. But appstore and everything will work like normal.
