Blaskra1n Unlock on 3.1.2

I have an iPhone 3G updated to 3.1.2. I used Blackra1n to jailbreak it and to unlock it. I unfortunately do not have another carriers sim to test the unlock. Does Blackra1n indeed unlock the phone even though its got the latest OS 3.1.2?

I intent to sell it on eBay and i want to know if i can label it unlocked.

Blackra1n jailbreaks and only jailbreaks your phone. Blacksn0w unlocks it. So it you only ran blackra1n it's only jailbroken.

I should have been more clear. Blackra1n has Blacksn0w unlock in it. I did that! I just want to know if it works ao the lates firmware?

Stupid question I have blackra1n and blacksnow can I use a carrier like a go phone or cricket ( pay as you go ?) I still have wifi at home so I dont need to pay appel $30.00 a month.
