Blackra1n Unlock Error

I don't know if this has happened to anyone else, but . . .

I jailbroke and unlocked my phone according to directions:

1. plug in iphone and update to 3.1.2
2. make it rain
3. when iPhone lags unplug USB, replug, and re-make it rain
4. downloaded cydia, blacksnow etc.

my phone worked fine UNTIL one day i turned it off. when i turned it back on the screen shows usb connect to itunes picture and stays there until i go to the nearest computer and "make it rain" to break past it again. now i can never turn it off, even if anything freezes - i can't reboot!

is this happening to anyone else?! PLEASE HELP! Thanks.

Unfortunetly that same thing happens to a friend of mines and there is nothing you can do about it as of now... i was told that it might be because the new iphone 3gs's have something internally different about them but if i come across something ill be back and let you know
