    Default Unlock For Sprint?

I'm thinking about buying a 1.0 from someone who upgraded to a 3G. Is it going to be a long hassle unlocking it for sprint? And what do I need to attain this goal?

    Thank You

Also it is currently on AT&T and has never been jailbroken, if that helps.

You'd need a complete hardware modification that doesn't exist. Sprint is CDMA. The iphone is GSM phone. Two different technologies.

It may have been cause this question just popped up the other day also from a user. I also think he wasn't being sarcastic because when someone answers "it can't be done cause Sprint is CDMA and iPhone is GSM" the next question pops up "what's the difference". So I think he may have just been cutting to the bottom of it.

The only thing you can do is wait till the AT&T exclusitivity is over, and they might release one for Sprint..... Rumor has it that verizon might get one, and I guess you could get one of those, and somehow unlock it, and somehow get sprint to let the ESN on there system.

That is the best chance of getting one on sprint.

Or, You can get it and get AT&T service, jailbrake it, and then install a program called Fake Carrier, and make it SAY that it is sprint.... But that is not what you are wanting...

I fooled some Verizon Fanboys with that.. I was like, Yes, I got my iphone to work with verizon, and show them my phone.
