Default iphone "cannot connect to data" error

I am an ATT customer using an ATT Motorola with an unlimted data plan

I have a 2G iphone with 3.12 firmware (bought it when I was on Tmobile and I unlocked and jailbroke before ATT was wise but now I am on ATT anyway)

when I put my ATT sim in it I can make phone calls but the ATT data does not work (wifi does) because my iphone is not on my ATT account.

I use my Motorola during the week and get my corporate mail on it so it is my primary phone, however during the weekends I like to use the iphone and would like to have the data connection activated....

Any way that is possible without calling ATT to switch my phone to an iphone data plan?

Unlockit - APN Changer for your iPhone

Go to that site on your iPhone using WiFi. It will install a profile on your phone that will enable data.

3.0 and forward disables data on non iPhone plans so the above reenables it.

Thanks but when I go to that site it appears to be a blog. What do I click? Am I downloading a file?

When I clicked on unlock my APN on the top banner I got this post

I have had quite a number of requests on how I sign my profiles so they come up with then listed a Verified when they are installed. Well it is pretty simple (after I worked out how it was done).
