I have a a 2G iPhone with 2.2.1 unlocked and jailbroken using tmobile. Everything is running very slow on the phone, so i wanna do a full restore and upgrade to the latest firmware 3.1.2

I'm confused by all the programs out there

What do i need to do?

I'm using Windows XP by the way

i heard something about blackra1n that it doesn't stick, if the battery dies, you have to do it again or something, is this true?

Install Cydia, then bootneuter and run it.

after running blackrain, will the iphone have cydia installed? if not then how do i install cydia?

When u run it there be a blackra1n icon

open it and press insall cydia
