blacksn0w doesn't work (Tmobile) is there any other unlock?

As has been posted by many, there is a minority of us who are stuck. We're at 3.1.2, 5.11.07 and blacksn0w will not unlock reliably (sometimes get on Tmobile, can sometimes get a SMS, but after a few minutes - or right away, it goes to 'no service'.

Is there anything else out there? I've tried everything suggested from many posts - none clear the issue. The 3g Phone works fine on ATT (yes 3g is turned off).

Any ideas of something else??? Any newer blacksn0ws?

And some people call me crazy when I state that BlackSn0w still needs work, and is not fully stable. I really wish I would of kept my old baseband with Ultrasn0w. It was fully stabe.

I am just glad I don't depend on a unlock for my phone.

i have had mostly sucess with black rain but am finding some issues !
That would be why I have joined the MMI I will add my findings as i can
fortunately for all i do this for a living! Enjoy!

if you have a Iphone you need a AT&T sim card in your phone to download blackrain and them switch back to your T-mobile sim after download

I have the no service problem, 3g 3.12 unlocked jailbroke with blackra1n/ blacksn0w. I have tried a clean restore and re/ unlock/jailbreak, tried resetting network settings, ran blackra1n several times. I still have no service with any of my AT&T sims. Frustration has set in, I cant use my new ebay treasure. Is this a hardware problem?

You're saying you're not even getting a signal with an AT&T sim card?

First thing to check is to make sure it has the iPhone plan activated on the account.

Secondly, Yes, that is a hardware problem, considering the iPhone is released on the AT&T network. IF you have any other info that might be handy, ie. previous owner, scratches, dings, cracks, anything else you can think of, repost with that extra info.

Welcome to the club of users with little to no idea of how things work. Just cuz you have an Iphone and run blackrAin doesnt mean its gonna work! Between I tunes and several other blocks just putting in A SIM doesnt work! All the problems i have heard so far took me about 30HRS of trial and error to figure out! The process is quite complicated! BlackrAin is for already active Iphones. If you are not an Professional modder i would recomend taking it to someone who is. Hints i will give you is you have no service with an active sim on a phone that just says insert sim with the phone being fully ready for function and no service then yes it is hardware. Please leave me more info to determine how far we need to go.

Um... actually... blackra1n is for EVERY phone. There is a built in "hacktivation" feature for those using a T-Mobile SIM card. Get your facts straight.

try with out a sim '' i did it then would not work tryed it with sim after part 1 0f 2 was active. i read on the iforms that there are 2 looks the phone then the sim -- if work for me and i tryed 567 times is ok and works with other sim's
