need help with blackra1in

bear with me please...
i had a factory unlocked iphone 3gs os 3.0. I installed 3.1 and i lost the unlock and jailbreak...
firstly is that possible...do factory unlocked iphones lose their unlock????
so yea then i used blackra1n 2 unlock it. i tried getting cydia but it didnt work...its said connection timed out. so i uninstalled blackra1n from my iphone so that i could install it again and get cydia...but once uninstalled the blackra1n icon doesnt come on my phone even after making it rain....
So as of now my phone is unlocked everything works fine(god bless geohot) but i dont have cydia and i dont know what i can do to get it. help!!!!

running blackra1n again doesn't give you the blackra1n icon? Because it should....

Worst case, you can just do a clean restore to 3.1.2, and re run blackra1n, but this time install cydia...

and no, unfortunately you got scammed... factory unlocked phones will not re-lock...
