Unlocking/using 2g on another carrier HELP!

Hi, i just recieved a 2g iphone, on firmware 3.1.2. I am haveing trouble using my t mobile sim card. These are the steps i did, i was wondering if anyoen could tell me what i did wrong, these are the steps i did.

-Used blackra1n
-used bootneuter under the settings 3.9, neuter, unlock
-downloaded afc2add
-used diskaid to delete lockdown

When i inserted my tmobile simcard it showed i had t mobile service and edge, however, it took me to the screen telling me i need to insernt a valid simcard. what am i dooing wrong?

You need to restore with the tmobile sim. And run blackrain when it asks you to activate. (you won't need to unlock or anything like that again)

The problem is that you, or the previous owner, activated the phone with a AT&T sim card.

Thanks,got the phone calls working, now my problem is the internet. currently i'm subscribed to the sidekick internet, what do i have to do to get edge working.

Also, before i read your post i had gotten my iphone to work without the edge working by changing the lockdown folder to something else if that is any help in fixing my problem
