Lost at what to do now. iPhone 3G on 3.0 firmware
I'm on 3.0 firmware, iphone 3g.
It is currently jailbroken with redsnow, and I am trying to unlock it.
I tried the 666repo.ultrasn0w.com or whatever the exact link is, but it is still unable to recognize my T-mobile sim card.
I am on modem 05.11.07
What should I do? All help is greatly appreciated.

ultrasn0w will not unlock 05.11.07 baseband
try running fuzzyband from cydia to downgrade your baseband to lowerversion and then if the downgrade is successful then run ultrasn0w to unlock your phone
if the above does not work try restoring your phone with 3.1.2 firmware and run blacksn0w to jailbreak and unlock

Why in the world would u tell him to try fuzzy band when you can just download blacksn0w from cydia? I forgot the repo, but you don't need to restore or anything. Just add the blacksn0w repo, And install.
The only thing I ask in return for helping, is that you click the thanks button, Thanks!

For blacksn0w it says I need to be on 3.1 or greater.
How can I update to just 3.1? Also, will I need to re-jailbreak it after?
