Need help with unlocking iphone....

i have an iphone 3g on firmware 3.1.2, and modem firmware 02.28.00. when i install yellowsn0w i get no bars at all, when i install unlrasn0w i get "NO SERVICE" im lost and don't know what to do. im on T-Mobile and and using Cydia.

just do a complete update to 3.1.2. this should update your baseband. then use blackrain to jailbreak and unlock.

you pwnaged str8 to 3.1.2 from 2.2.1, thats your problem...

Restore to a normal 3.0.1 (so you can maintain the 4.26.08 modem firmware)

Then just run redsn0w.

Or restore to the pwnaged 3.1.2. file...

As long as your modem firmware is 4.26.08 then ultrasn0w will work...

If you mess up and upgrade to 5.11.07 modem firmware, then just blacksn0w

its a name i have use for a long time in gaming, wow, cod and so on so forth. as for my phone i upgraded to the standard 3.1.2 firmware and use blackrain and it work's like a champ
