how can i use my iphone with t-mobile carrier?

hello..everyone..

i have just bought an used iphone 3g from ebay.. after i received my iphone, i found out that there is a screen lock.. then i contacted the seller, but he said he forgot the password...WT....

so i restored my iphone...but now i dont know how to unlock it so i can use it on my t-mobile carrier..

i have researched on this website, found lots of info. but i still dont know where to start....
pliiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiz help...!!!!!!

For an unlock it is dependent on what firmware you are using.
3.0 or 3.0.1 use ultrasn0w from Cydia, if 3.1.2 I would suggest using blackra1n jailbreak and blacksn0w to unlock.

Lol I don't think he forgot the password I think it was stolen. But anyhoo nothing wrong with that since you're innocent. You really need to find out what firmware it is on before you can proceed.

now i know that mine is 3.1.2 .. im gonna try blackra1n and blacksn0w and see what i can do....
