Unlocking my phone (Again)

I just bricked my 2G. . . No biggie, I can restore it all back. But the reason for my bricking was that I was trying to find a way to activate MMS in 3.0 that I downloaded out of the download section here. . . It just did not have an option to enter my APN info, no matter what I did. So, I found something called Native something. . . Then it was bricked when I finished the istall.


I just want to have MMS within SMS. . . Does anyone have a good firmware to use? I really don't want to brick it again. . . .

Upgrade to 3.1.2 unlock and then pm me

on 3.1.2 you can fix your mms by:

cydia>manage>sources>add>sinfuliphonerepo.com>mms and tethering

install and go to settings and reset.

APN: internet2.voicestream.com or epc.tmobile.com
Username: blank
Password: blank

MMS

APN: wap.voicestream.com or epc.tmobil.com

(the rest will be installed already as you see)

REBOOT. All done. If one apn doesn't work then try the other. Usually both will work. Good luck

It will be fine. It worked fine for me. Sometimes bricking just happens with Cydia installs, doesn't matter what it is it just happens. You just got unlucky. It should be fine don't worry.
