pwnage tool "Activate" for push 2G 3.1.2

Hey everybody,

I recently bought a used iphone 2g (3.1.2) off of a friend who had an AT&T contract. When i turned it on, the iphone brought me to the spring board, so i know that the activation on the phone is still good. I do want to jailbreak and unlock the phone.

My question is: If i want to preserve push, do all i have to do is uncheck "activate the phone" in pwnage tool?

Make sure you have those boxes checked. Activate/Unlock boxes are a must when Jailbreak/Unlocking your iPhone. The push notification is in your phone no doubt, rather or not it actually pushes though. Mine sometime "Push" notifies me and most of the time it doesn't. I just learned to check everything when I sit down and play on Wifi
