Help!

I upgraded from 3.0.1 to 3.1.2 then jailbroke and unlocked my wifes 2G using blackra1n and BootNeuter. The baseband remained at 04.05.04_G. Can I downgrade from 3.1.2 back to 3.0.1? She wants her MMS back and the EnableMMS2G doesnt seem to be anywhere around and probably isnt compatible with 3.1.2 anyway. Please help, I'm kind of new at this.

Sure you can downgrade. Go to the downloads section here on mmi and download the 3.0.1 ipsw. Also download the 3.0 (this is for the jailbreak). Go to iTunes and hit shift+restore then select 3.0.1 fw you just downloaded.

To jailbreak, use redsn0w then select the 3.0 fw when asked to, then proceed. It should automatically be unlocked as well as jailbroken.

if that doesn't work there's another method but it involves ssh. If you don't wanna mess with that then it obviously won't help :P

Ssh is manually entering your iPhone thru your computer. I will give you the methodni used for my own phone to make mms work in case the one above doesn't (don't ask me why I didn't think to tell you this earlier lol)

Cydia>manage>edit>add(+)>sinfuliphonerepo.com>mms and tethering

Install it go to your settings reset then APN for mms is wap.voicestream.com or epc.tmobile.com

you're regular apn for Internet is whatever you want or had it on. This is supposed to work for 2G too. If not there are they downloads from the same repo like enable mms 2G if that one doesn't work (but it should so no worries)
