    Default Original Iphone Texting Questions

I just bought a 2G iphone off ebay and I have some questions about using Tmobile with it. I alredy know how to unlock it blackrain>bootneuter.

1.If I use SMS to text someone and I dont have a texting plan with tmobile will I be charged per text?

    2. since I dont have a data plan I can still text while connected to WIFI? Will I be charged for it even though I'm on WIFI?

    3. Will I only be charged for texts if I use SMS? Can I use a 3rd party texting app and not get charged for texts?

Obviously tmo will charge you for txt if you dont have a txt plan....regardless of which app you use. WIFI has nothing to do with it.

Long story short....you have to pay for txts.

there are apps that will let you sms over wifi, but these do not work with your number (because if you include your number and someone texts you back then you have to pay for receiving the text)

You could use textPlus from the app store but thats kinda cheap/dumb and it works over Wi-Fi, but think about not everywhere you go is gonna have Wi-Fi
