Default Does 3.1.2 upgrade the iBoot ? (3GS)

    Hi, thats my concerned.

I wonder if the 3.1.2 (Full from itunes with BB 5.11) upgrade the iBoot of my iphone 3gs (3.0+jailbeak+ultrasnow).

Because I've read that some people have the problem with the news iphone/ipod that that this new iboot and whenever they restart their ipod/iphones has to run againg blackrain.

If I upgrade, that will happen to me?.

I want to upgrade to 3.1.2 and bb 5.11 and say god bay of modding iphone for a long time

    thanks.

You cannot update your iboot via iTunes. It sits on another chip that you will not ever have access to unless you physically remove the chip from your phone.

The reason they have to run blackra1n after every reboot is because they have phones with the new bootrom that was installed at the factory.
