Default Factory Unlocked iPhone... Not compatible with APPLE Accessories ERROR??

Anyone else get this? I have the tiny wall charger, which I plug the usb cable into...

And I'm getting "charging not supported with this device"

But it works perfectly fine when I plug it into my mac. Is there a way to get rid of this error?

Is the wall charger meant for your version iphone? Because there are differences in pin-out between devices, which is normally where the error comes from.

If its the actual charger that came with the phone...obviously it shouldnt be doing that.

I would try a restore to make sure its not a software glitch...

But if it persists, I would take it to Apple as it could be a hardware issue.

Its weird, cause when its plugged in, it doesnt function properly either. The touch screen goes nuts when I try to use it.

Its jailbroken, I don't wanna go through the hassle of restoring it. Everything else works great (other then mms, damn t-mobile).

Well then your gonna be stuck with dealing with it.

And if you take it to Apple....the first thing they will do is restore it (or tell you the warranty is void since its jailbroken....that is if it still has a warranty).

That wasn't the answer I was looking for man! I was hoping there was a way to turn off that error.
