how do i activate my iphone and get into homescreen

i'm sorry if there is other people already post about it but i spend 11+ hours on my computer looking through almost every single websites and posts to find the solution. right now i just need to ACTIVATE my phone so that i can go to the homescreen to unlock/jailbreak and all that stuff. people kept saying to go to cydia and unlock it but i CANNOT get into the homescreen to even get into cydia, i'm stuck at the "Connect to Itunes"/emergency call screen and i cannot find a single person that have a valid att sim

what i have done
- run blackra1n ------>stuck at connect to itunes/emergency call
- run blacksnow install w/o wifi -------> error in process
- restore iphone ------------> need a valid sim to activate

iphone info: 3.1.2 /5.11.07

help would be really really appreciate

Blackra1n should activate.

How did you run Blacksn0w if you cant get the phone to activate? Because its run from the phone.

i tried black rain like 10 time already and everytime it reboot, i got into the connect to itunes/ emergency call screen always

there is a post on how to install blacksnow w/o wifi

Installed a at&t sim, active or inactive, and rerun blackra1n.

ok finally got the solution from other post. some guy told me to download a fresh 3.1.2 fw and then restore into that fw using Shift+retore in itunes, right after restore i run blackra1n RC3 and boom done!

anyone know if the same solution will work for a 2G iphone last known software 2.0.2 Phone has been like this for 5 days now and have spent infinate amount of hours trying to restore to no avail. Any advice gratefully received

sorry! to add when it comes close to working it tells me to add a sim with no pin lock. which we do then i tunes says there is a problem with your iphone please contact nearest Apple store

glad it works out for you too, i know exactly how you feel when that screen appears everytime phone reboot
