Unlocking a Original iPhone 3.1.2 to tmobile

Just purchased an iphone with 3.1.2 software from eBay. I would like to use this phone with my t-mobile account at the very least and if its possible jailbreak my phone. I understand that it may not be possible yet because the 3.1.2 software thats on the phone is to recent.

2G or 3G? Windows or Mac? Yes there is a jailbreak and unlock available for 3.1.2. firmware so you can use it on T-Mo.
