    Saw this:
"We’re seeing some reports on Twitter that some users are having issues with WiFi, GPS, or YouTube after unlocking with Blacksn0w. If you have any such issues, go to Settings > General > Reset> and hit “Reset Network Settings”. Once that’s complete, do a hard power cycle by holding the sleep/home button for a few seconds and then sliding the on-screen power toggle."

The method only works if there is an issue with wifi and not YouTube. No matter what I do, YouTube won't connect when wifi is on

Open Cydia. go to the manage tab at the bottom.. select sources.. hit the add button.. type in the address and hit ok. Then you'll find this pushfix package under changes or in the search menu.

Does this fix actually fix "push" so that push notifications are working as well as youtube issue? I know on previous 3.0 fw, this push fix from cydia had bugs and asked for several passwords within the iphone to be reentered.

The app is called "Push Fix".

This app will fix the YouTube, Wi-Fi & GPS issues.

If it doesn't fix YouTube/GPS the first time around,
    Install the app once again.
Should work the 2nd time around.

    Good luck

i installed Push Fix from http://cydia.iphoneil.net yesterday to my 3gs and it works fine. I'm trying to do the same for my friend's phone, but I cannot find Push Fix after adding the repo. Anyone else with this issue?

-- nvm: I got "Push Notification Fix" from repo. of http://fishbone.ge,

Thanks for the repo post. Why is it that on some phones, certain apps or tweaks are not found under repos?

Also, with this push fix mod, I remember there being some issues with this on the 3.0 fw dealing with password resets and such. Does this fix actually fix both notifications and youtube or just youtube? I'd like to actually get push on my phone. I have a 3.1.2 running on a 16gb 3g

I have an iPhone 2G which I hacktivated/jailbroke using blackra1n then unlocked using Bootneuter. I am having push/youtube/gps problem.

I added the http://cydia.iphoneil.net repo but I the Push Fix app is not showing up.

Most likely because you have a filter on in Cydia. When you first ran Cydia, it asked you if you are a "user, developer, or hacker" or something like that. Depending on what you answered, some apps are filtered.

You can reset that in Cydia under: Manage section | Settings button. Set it to Developer to see all apps in Cydia.

Zythyr, this is liekly your issue too.
