Shouldn't it work...?

So I had an unlocked phone with Pwnage Tool and I downloaded blackra1n and made it rain on my iPhone 3G with the updated baseband and it appeares as if everything went just fine but the service said "searching" for a little while then it just went to "no service"

now I'm from California and i have T-Mobile but right now im on a 2 week work trip in London, England and I've basically been waiting for this unlock so my phone would work but since it says no service could it be that i'm just in London? or do I need to like re-jailbreak my phone or something? shouldnt my T-mobile sim work out here just with more expensive rates?

You may not be getting service at the moment because T-Mobile's network is having a massive outage. Some people are getting service some are not all over the country.

Seeing as how he's in London, T-Mobile's outage problems probably aren't effecting him. I have no idea of a T-Mobile USA sim will work in the UK. Is 3G off?

Tmo called it a world-wide, and that the outages are still in effect. Per the info I got a few hours ago when I talked to them.

unfortunately because of this problem... i can't call tmobile to find out about it... is this problem fixed yet? if it is... I still don't have service :-/

Restore to 3.1.2 in iTunes and blackra1n your phone again.
