Hi,i just unlocked my phone with blacksnow and everything looks good. I have a tmobile sign and some bars but when i go and text and make a call nothing goes thru. I need some help please. Thanks

specify your phone model (2g, 3g, 3gs) because there are some issues, also, try to do a clean installation, make a back up, then restore your iphone and then run the blackrain, and the complete process, maybe this help.

i have a 3g,now it says there is no cellular service. The tmobile sign doesn't even show and it just says no service. how do i do a clean install and if i restore wouldnt i lose all my data?

Yea. It turns out that even this didn't work for me. I selected Cydia and Blacksn0w from the menu. It installed Cydia but it was stuck on "unpacking sn0w" for a while. I waited for about 20 minutes and then decided to quit. Using Cydia, and I repo'ed and installed Blacksn0w. It confirmed and it went from "No SIM" to "searching". It searched for a while and went back to No SIM. I reinstalled blacksn0w, restarted, reset settings, everything. IT JUST WONT WORK. It always goes back to No SIM. I have tried with multiple Sims but it just won't work. I'm on 3.1.2 and 5.11 baseband. Commcenter/baseband damaged?
PLEASE HELP.

come on ppl follow instructions!!!!Delete blacksn0w OFF you phone then restart, Then TURN OFF YOUR 3G!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! TMOBILE 3g and AT&T DO NOT WORK!!!!! After you turn off your 3G Install Blacksn0w AGAIN! followed by a RESTART

It shouldn't matter for me. I live in Dubai and 3g is supported. Either way I turned off 3G before installing blacksn0w.

I am starting to think maybe my commcenter or modem itself is physically damaged.

Yes 3G is supported but Even on his video he says to turn 3G OFF you may can turn it back on after, you may cannot

Okay, I figured out the problem. The six pins connecting to the SIM in the phone, one of em' went lose. I attached it back. It's working now

Lesson here is if you have multiple SIM's, better get multiple phones because changing them constantly will make something go wrong.
