i unlocked my iphone and put my tmobile sim card in ...the wifi is working but the edge network isnt working ..it says your are not subscribed to a cellular data service. do i have to downgrade my g1 data plan?
I am running the Blackberry T-mobile plan right now, and I have service with gprs. I am currently trying to figure out how the run the EDGE service on it. I am able to get email, surf the web, but very slow. You can call T-mobile and talk to a rep they are more than happy to work with you and your iPhone. They may try and sell you on a Smartphone plan but I know several folks running the BB plan without issue. I have OS 3.0 baseband 4.26.08 downgraded from 3.1.2 baseband 5.11
