Well I had some issues with it once. I restarted the phone and it worked again. have you tried that?
lol, it's kind of funny how I use common computer methods for the iPhone but damn it works.Last edited by Khazak; 11-03-2009 at 11:43 AM. Reason: Automerged Doublepost

I've got wifi problem as well. Resetting network settings fixes it...but it's broken again when you reboot and you need to reset network settings again.

Wi-fi not working after installing Blackra1n
i installed Blackra1n, it rebooted, then no wif-fi. Therefore, I'm unable to get to Blacksn0w. Please help.
I tries the 'Reset Network Settings' several times, no luck

Have you tried a clean install 3.1.2? I think that would be the best. I have the wifi issues one time after I install something from cydia or rock then either I restore network settings restart the iphone and the problem doesn't come back. But a clean install of 3.1.2 is really reccommended. Sometimes a custom ipsw made by pwnagetool causes some problems here and there (wifi included from what I noticed).

When you say "clean install of 3.1.2", do you mean using Restore in itunes? If yes, I tried that, but wifi still doesn't work.

wifi works fine after resetting newtwork settings. But:
after you reboot, the issue arises again.

I just tried:
>Reset network setings (it goes dark and comes up on the apple logo, like a reboot)
>checked the #G settings, it was turned off
> rebooted again.
No progress. I still have the "wireless antenna" sign on. and in settings it says I am connected to my home wireless, but when I open Safari/Maps, it just wits on trying to connect to the Internet.
Whenever i reset the network settings, the phone looks liek it is rebooting. Is that why it is not working for me? Any way to stop this (automatic reboot on reset of network settings)?Last edited by agcec1; 11-03-2009 at 10:44 PM. Reason: Automerged Doublepost

No, in order to reset your iphone network setting, the device has to be rebooted.
when you reboot and get itunes recovery mode logo(USB cabe+itunes logo) means your iphone needs to be jailbroken after each reboot.
so,
reset network settings, while reboot iphone will stuck, just run blackra1n.
you should be fine.
