ran pwntools and ultrasnow but still no phone service

noob here.

was doing a favor for a buddy, he has a 3g(non-S ) that the previous owner had 3.1 official update on ATT with the 5.11.07 modem.

i had to borrow a friends mac to get the current pawnage tools 3.1 that would allow the custom file to be installed thru the restore, and knew i was good when i got the pineapple on startup. i then installed ultrasnow the first time with 3g enabled accidentally, so i removed and uninstalled from phone and then did it again with the 3g disabled as outlined in the instructions online. downloaded thru the repo666 source address and installed. i thought i was all good untill i popped in my Tmobile SIM into his phone (ie i knew my sim was good and everything since it was running on my 3.0 personal tmobile iphone) . the whole time it would only show searching or no service, so in essence it seemed like it was not unlocked even though i had ran ultrasnow direct from the address as mentioned above. im confused as to what to do now as it seems ive done everything correctly.

5.11.07 can't be unlocked at the moment. Check your bootloader via Cydia's Fuzzyband. If you have 5.08 you can downgrade to 4.28
