    Default iphone 3g problems unlocking

    i am trying to unlock my 3g sixteen gig. i have a 2g unlocked w2.2 and that went flawless. I have tried unlocking using redsn0w and 3.0 as described in the guide. it just sits on waiting for reboot. i have tried pwnage tool,,, nothing happens it just runs then says plug into itunes. am i doing something wrong or is there a easier way to do this.. im a t-mobile customer. any help would be appreciated... thanks

    redsn0w finally loaded and now it says the sim card is not supported....

    First of all, you need to understand what you are doing. Using Redsn0w jailbreaks your phone. The only way to unlock your 3G is by using ultrasn0w. Firts, jailbreak your iphone using redsn0w. Then run cydia and add the following repo: repo666.ultrasn0w.com (where 0 is zero not o) and then search for ultrasn0w. Install and reboot. Voilą.

    If you are using pwnage, create the custom firmware, then put your phone in DFU (follow the instructions), open up itunes, hit ALT+Restore (mac) SHIFT+restore (PC) and let it do its thing (make sure that the "activate box was checkmarked in the "advanced" tab of pwnage tool). Then fire up Cydia and repeat the steps mentionned above.
