Ok, so heres the deal, I have an iPhone 3G, it has 3.0 jailbroken, unlocked FW, but I'm having network problems anyways. My phone is on and working, but people sometimes can't call me, and after a while I get messages from my provider that I have a missed call while my phone was "turned off". I found out that it's not my operator's problem, but it's the iPhone, I also have a 3GS and it works fine. I noticed that every time I bring the iPhone to some speakers it makes sounds like it's trying to connect(similar sounds to those when you get a call and you're close to the speaker) but they are constant and in that period, no one can reach me. After I make a call or send a message, people can reach me for about 2 minutes and then, its the same thing. I had to reinstall the FW to make the problems go away, and this happened to my 3GS when I first jailbroke it with 3.0, and reinstalled the FW and it worked perfectly. I know the solution, my question is, why do these problems occur, and is there an easier solution than just reinstalling the FW and being forced to install all the Cydia apps once again?
Thank you
