The angryness and bitterness of some people

I am really disapointed of the people in the dev team and their followers. Why can accept that geohot made a great Job, paid or not. Donations or not, they aré really bad losers. If you read the comments there, only shows bitterness and anger to someone that is doing a great Job. Why they attack to someone that provided a solution, honestly I removed the link to the dev team page, and forget about people that are closed to new ideas, solutions or opportunities, they did a great Job on the pwnage tool, but just accept that Geohot did a faster N provided the solution while them were not interested on doing it (according to words of Angie), so respect other people work and admire a good work, do not try to only destroy other peoples geniality, just because they are bad losers,

I have read the DevTeam's blog page and Tweets. There is nothing negative directed at GeoHot, maybe jodysanders but that's well deserved. Unlike what you are claiming, I have nothing but respect for both GeoHot and DevTeam. I have no problem with GeoHot taking contributions for his work. I have never read anything from the DevTeam that even hinted that they were not interested in finding an unlock for BB 05.11.07. In fact, they were working on it quietly, that's their method.

The only thing I ever read from MuscleNerd, AngiePangie or Confuscious was that they did not think an unlock was going to happen anytime soon. So, they were wrong about that. It doesn't mean that they were bitter. I have read a few posts where Angie and Confuscious gave kudos to GeoHot for his hard work and unlock solution.

I also remember statements that the BB was too large for playing “Cat and Mouse” with Apple with every firmware. That doesn’t mean they were not interested or cared. They were smart. They realized that Apple will close the holes on their exploits, just like they did with the new iPhone 3GS bootrom.

I think your post is off based and you anger is misdirected. If you are basing you comments on a few individuals in MMI, they do not represent DevTeam or its community. By the way, I have read plenty of negative comments directed at the DevTeam claiming they got "owned" or "pwned" by GeoHot. So, there is plenty of smack going around on both sides, but not by the people you are claiming. Nuff said!

famleon69, I'm pretty sure you're confused as to what's happening here. The Dev-Team, from what I've gathered, is pretty much in a love-love relationship with Geohot. There's no hard feelings or animosity between them. Both of them strive to provide excellent service to the community for nothing at all (well, geohot collects donations, but I suspect he burns all that money on new devices and pizza).

Anyway, there's nothing you or I or anyone here can do about any suspected feelings of negativity anyway, so why not just either 1) take it to the source and/or 2) keep it to yourself

And then there are the people who don't give a darn they just want to reap the benefits of geo and dev team's hard work then slip away until they make a disastrous mistake in fear that they may have bricked their phone. Lol the dev team never hated on geohot, at one point (during and after the whole unlock for 3.0 shananigans release by geohot) they mightve disagreed with his method choice cuz of safety/stability concerns but they never were "angry or bitter". As far as now is concerned they actually praise geohot for his work and contributions. So I don't see why you're also contributing to the "angryness and bitterness" cuz it seems you're the only one getting pissed of at anything right now. No offense.

I'm just teasing. This is a lighthearted matter. You shouldn't be pissed off everyone seems to be getting along just fine as should you be happy cuz the dev team is happily crediting geohot constantly. Cheer up!
