Update OS for UNLOCKED IPHONE. yes? no?
I currently am using an Unlocked Apple Iphone running on 3.0 version software. When i plug my phone into Itunes, i get a notice saying there is a new software update. My concern is, if I do the update will it lock my phone so i wont be able to use it with my service carrier, T-Mobile? Can someone PLEASE HELP?

If you run that update you will be unable to use your phone with T-Mobile, permanently. Judging your level of technical expertise by your post, I'm going to suggest to you that you never, under any circumstances, do anything at all with your iPhone without consulting at least two (2) different sources that you're sure know what they're talking about.
As for the 3.1.2 update, don't worry about it.----
