Unlock 3.1 (5.11.07) via Fuzzyband

Hi all,

Sorry to repost (if I am), but there seems to be some confusion and I hoped someone could clear things up.

Javox states that baseband 5.11.07 can be downgraded back to unlockable state by using Fuzzyband here:

Others (including the DevTeam and Cash) seem to be saying this is not possible.

Any of those with experience using (or failing!) at this method, your input would be greatly appreciated!

Not quite sure what your point is? Fuzzy works with BL 5.8 - if you don't have (and the vast majority don't) that you can't downgrade

My point is how confused I am--the Guides don't cover this topic yet it seems, so am trying to clarify.

Which is to say if my friend has 5.8 (and the only way to find out is to attempt the JB and then if successful try Fuzzy), then he's gold. Otherwise not so much. Correct?

I would say there is a fair chance that it might have BL 5.8
It was refurbished in week 35. BL 5.8 stopped in week 28 but they don't change the BL when they refurbish so hopefully this was originally on BL 5.8

Certainly worth trying!
